MAKE NO MISTAKES – EASY CHEESY SAUCE FOR STEAK

A quick three-ingredient recipe – the perfect indulgent accompaniment to a hearty juicy steak.

Blue cheese owes it’s unique veins and strong odour to the mould penicillin. It’s aged for several weeks to form a mature cheese, full of good bacteria and great for healthy guts! One portion also provides you with all your RDI for vitamin K2, essential for healthy arteries and bones. Creamy and rich in flavour and benefits, this sauce is a simple – yet decadent – addition to a meat, vegetable or pasta dish.

Blue Cheese Sauce

Equipment

  • Hob

Ingredients

  • 100 g Double Cream
  • 75 g Blue Cheese
  • 1-2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions

  • Cut blue cheese into small pieces.
  • Warm cream and blue cheese in a saucepan on a low heat for a minute or two.
  • Once the cheese has melted, stir through the Worcestershire sauce.
