DRINK YOUR GREENS

Smoothies are one of the best ways to quickly and easily add a bunch of veggies into your day. This smoothie is rich in healthy fats, thanks to the avocado, and provides nearly 20% of your RDA of potassium. If you find it difficult to “eat your greens” this could be the easy option, which also provides you with 30% of your RDA of fibre, essential for a healthy digestive system.

A naturally cool and creamy, nutritious slushie, that’s great as a fast and refreshing snack or an on-the-go breakfast.

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • ½ Avocado
  • 35 g Courgette
  • 25 g Spinach
  • 25 g Pineapple frozen
  • 15 g Banana frozen
  • 70 g Ice Cubes (one tray)

Instructions

  • Put all ingredients into blender and blend until completely combined.
  • For a runnier smoothie add more ice or water.
